Everyone is born into this world to be loved. You are God's great masterpiece.
Vancouver Jesus' Table calls all to come and dine, to feast on who He is and learn more about Him through the Word. He eagerly provides you with an opportunity to invite friends, outcasts and even enemies to know God's story of love and salvation.
It began at Christmas 2018, when five adults and three children prepared and shared fifty meals. Through snow, rain, and blazing sun, we have never stopped sharing that love since.
What we can tell you is the count. Since 2018, our community has served 200,012 meals and handed out tens of thousands of new socks, masks, and hand-warmers — plate by plate, neighbour by neighbour.
We are a Christian faith-based organization, and we strive to love our DTES neighbours with the motto Jesus spoke: "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." (John 13:34-35)
